International Lifestyle and Personal Development Practitioners' Forum
What is the Forum?
The Forum, set up in December 2018, is a regular get-together of Lifestyle, Welfare and Personal Development practitioners working in sport. The brainchild of Elizabeth Egan, one of our founders, and supported by University of East London, it provides the opportunity for learning, sharing practice, and continually improving our skills. The sessions are currently being held virtually via MS Teams. In-person sessions were previously held at University of East London (E16 2RD). We currently have almost 200 people who have expressed an interest in the group, with up to 60 practitioners from universities, professional clubs, institutes of sport and other related organisations attending our virtual forums.
Who can attend?
The group is open to anyone with an interest in supporting high performance athletes and learning more about lifestyle and personal development support. The group currently includes individuals working in universities, institutes of sport and professional sports clubs and player associations, as well as those working towards the TALS qualification. The forum is free to attend (we don't provide lunch); we only ask that you are willing to share your knowledge, experience and thoughts with the rest of the group and be an active part of discussions. If you would like to find out more or would like to join the group, please contact Elizabeth.
